Magic Valley Paramedics, LLC, is an Idaho
Limited Liability Company. It is owned and operated by St. Luke's Magic Valley
Regional Medical Center and operates within the organization framework
of St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center. MVP provides out of hospital medical care and
ground ambulance transportation of the sick and injured in Twin Falls
County. Magic Valley Paramedics has three ALS ambulances located within
the city of Twin Falls. Ambulances are staffed at a minimum with one
Paramedic and and one Emergency Medical Technician.
Magic Valley Paramedics staff are employed by
St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional
Medical Center. These labor cost are then subsequently charged to Magic
Valley Paramedics, LLC. Since the staff of Magic Valley Paramedics are
employees of St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center, they are covered by
MVRMC Policies as appropriate.
St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center employs a Paramedic Manager,
who reports directly to the Critical Care Director. The Critical Care
Director is a member of the St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center
management team and oversees the operations of Magic Valley Paramedics.
Magic Valley Paramedics also retains the services of a Physician Medical
Director to collaborate with the Magic Valley Paramedics management and
provide overall medical direction to the Paramedic Service.
St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center has established an Advisory
Committee, consisting of various MVRMC employees, a County Commissioner,
a Medical Center Board Member and members of the community. This
committee meets regularly to consider matters pertaining to Magic Valley
Paramedics and make recommendation to the
SLMVRMC Management and designees on various issues surrounding the
operation of Magic Valley Paramedics.
